Our current projects

The Trust focuses on a few key activities at a time. At the moment our key activities are:

• Completing the new library at Meetse A Bophelo Primary School
• Refurbishing and stocking a library at Zakhele Primary School
• Funding some developments in music at Meetse A Bophelo Primary School
• Providing additional resources for Sikhanyisele Primary School
• Providing additional learning resources for Tshegofatsong Special School
• Providing support for an ex-pupil of Meeste A Bophelo Primary School who has recently started at University

Resources to support a new class at Tshegofatsong Special School

At the end of 2008, Tshegofatsong Special School were told by the education authorities that they had to make new provision for a class of Reception age children. The school had no suitable accommodation, resources or teachers and were concerned that they would have difficulty in providing appropriate education for these children when they arrived in January 2009. A grant from the Trust has enabled the school to purchase suitable resources and materials to help get the new class established.
