Our current projects

The Trust focuses on a few key activities at a time. At the moment our key activities are:

• Completing the new library at Meetse A Bophelo Primary School
• Refurbishing and stocking a library at Zakhele Primary School
• Funding some developments in music at Meetse A Bophelo Primary School
• Providing additional resources for Sikhanyisele Primary School
• Providing additional learning resources for Tshegofatsong Special School
• Providing support for an ex-pupil of Meeste A Bophelo Primary School who has recently started at University

Support for a university student from Mamelodi

In January 2009, an ex-student at Meetse A Bophelo Primary school, having achieved well at the local high school, gained a place at Pretoria University, the first Meetse A Bophelo pupil to do so. She lives in a shack in Mamelodi and has no financial resources of her own. The Trust is assisting her with a small grant to help her to buy the necessary books for her course.
